Anthony DePonte serves as Vice President of Business Development at Advantage Maintenance Inc., where he focuses on building client relationships, supporting facility operations, and helping deliver consistent commercial cleaning services across a wide range of properties throughout the Northeast.
Outside of his corporate role, Anthony also has the opportunity to work as a field crew member with Pyrotecnico, supporting large-scale fireworks productions at live public events across CT, MA & RI.

As a crew member, the work is very practical and field-focused. Responsibilities include:
- Assisting with setup of fireworks systems on-site
- Supporting crew members during staging and preparation
- Helping ensure equipment is properly placed and secured
- Following strict safety procedures and timing protocols
- Working closely with a team to prepare for live show execution

From the Right Ed D’Angelo, a lifelong friend of Anthony’s. Their friendship goes all the way back to childhood, when they spent summers in the neighborhood lighting sparklers and fountains on the Fourth of July. Years later, that same shared passion has come full circle. Today, they work side by side as members of the Pyrotecnico crew, helping set up and execute some of the largest fireworks displays in the Northeast. It’s a reminder that some of the best journeys begin with childhood memories and grow into experiences you’ll never forget.

One of the most meaningful experiences this year is working the Bristol Fourth of July Celebration in Bristol, Rhode Island—recognized as the oldest continuous Independence Day celebration in the United States, dating back to 1785.
As America celebrates its 250th anniversary, this year’s event carries even greater significance. The fireworks display takes place this Friday, July 3, at 9:30 PM, lighting up Bristol Harbor as thousands gather to celebrate one of the nation’s most cherished Independence Day traditions. Being part of the Pyrotecnico crew for such a historic event is an experience Anthony is proud to be a part of, contributing behind the scenes to help create an unforgettable celebration for the community.
